WHO ARE WE?

We are an anti human trafficking registered 501c3 non–profit based in Alabama, U.S.A.

WHY WERE WE FORMED?

After taking a life changing missions trip to Thailand in 2017 and serving child victims of sex trafficking, our founder, Richard Elkin recognized it was time to answer the life long call and get involved in the fight against Human Trafficking. After considering taking a position with a non-profit in Tennessee, he and his wife felt strongly to establish their own, Alabama based non profit. We became fully registered in 2018.

WHAT IS OUR MISSION?

Our mission is “TO ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR OUR EXISTENCE through EDUCATION, COLLABORATION and RESTORATION”

Our goals are:

  • To prevent the vulnerable from becoming victims
  • To take victims on a journey from victim, to survivor, to thriver.
  • To give survivors the opportunity to fulfill their dreams

HOW DO WE ENVISION FULFILLING OUR MISSION?

The elements of our vision are broad but can be summarized as follows:
  • Creating educational resources to be shared with the public utilizing social media, in-person events and dedicated presentations to specific groups to raise awareness of the issue.
  • Rescuing those trapped in human trafficking utilising whatever resources necessary to free them.
  • Establishing a safe home and restoration center for male human trafficking victims
  • Providing educational and vocational services to both male and female survivors.
  • Providing small business opportunities for survivors.
  • Partnering with other anti human trafficking entities, as well as other humanitarian driven organizations at local, national and international level, to create a solid network, one group with a common purpose but different roles.

Education; the key to prevention

Utilizing social media platforms as well as in person discussions and events we educate the public about human trafficking. Our aim is to raise awareness of the issue, prevent vulnerable people from becoming a part of a statistic, as well as eliminating the demand from an earlier age.

Collaborating with a global network

of a wide variety of organizations. Though we partner with other anti human trafficking groups, the network also includes organizations that combat poverty, provide healthcare, orphanages and even pilots, all of whom can collaborate by pooling resources and information. In order to prevent, rescue and restore victims, practical needs at all stages must be met. This enables us all to combat human trafficking more effectively and efficiently on a global scale.

Rescuing and providing safe housing

for adult (16+) male victims of the sex trade. While this victim group is statistically smaller in terms of numbers, they are no less significant in terms of importance. There are an extremely limited number of rescue homes in the USA specifically dedicated to helping males. We aim to increase that number to abundantly accommodate this group, and help them in their journey of restoration.

OUR VISION FOR SURVIVORS

In order to be effective in this fight, and have a positive life-changing impact on survivors, there must be opportunities for them to thrive independently. This is why we will:

Develop mentor and scholarship programs for male and female survivors that will:

  • provide them opportunities to gain education and experience in a career of their choosing
  • provide sustainable skills that will last a lifetime
  • offer the opportunity to pursue the dreams taken from them by their traffickers

Establish a coffee company that will:

  • provide our local communities with a unique coffee house experience
  • provide survivors with employment and a practical education in running a business.
  • offer the opportunity to establish their own franchised coffee shop with the purpose of “paying it forward” and aiding others in need.

Our goal is to grow a global chain of independent, survivor owned and operated coffee houses, all existing to aid the fight against human trafficking.
